Chase Lightfoot, an amazing young man and football player for the Shadow Creek Shark football team, passed away tragically.
Chase wore #65 as he helped lead the Sharks during their 1st ever football season. He was a Junior at Shadow Creek High School, Alvin ISD's new school in the Pearland area.
Last night, the team traveled to San Antonio to compete against St. Mary's Hall. During the second half of the game, Chase passed out while on the sideline. Chase received immediate medical attention from athletic trainers and numerous doctors that were attending the game. He was urgently transported to a local hospital. Despite these efforts, Chase passed away approximately 6 hours later.
We are asking for our football family, school friends, community partners, and fellow Christians to lift up Chase's family in their thoughts and prayers.
