Charles City Dog Park - Phase II

Phase II of the Charles City Dog Park consists of adding a larger fenced in area to separate small dogs and large dogs.  The park is located at Waverly Hill Park on South Grand and 6th Street.

Funds raised will go towards Phase II of the park for secure fencing, benches, waste dispensers, and agility equipment, tearing down brush, and other components of a successful dog park.  We would like to have Phase II completed by the end of the summer.   PAWS Humane Society has volunteers and board members who serve on the dog park committee and a fund has been set up through First Security Bank & Trust for donations to be made.  Donations made through GoFundMe will be put into this bank account through the humane society.  This money will strictly be for the Charles City Dog Park.

The park is open to anyone residing and visiting the Charles City area at no charge!  The only thing we ask is that you clean up after your dog to help maintain a clean and healthy park for those who visit.

Phase I is complete and now available for use by both large and small dogs.  Please make sure to read the rules posted before entering the park.  Girl Scout Troop #20535 played a big part in helping with Phase I of the park and will continue to help in the planning process of Phase II.
