Charles - Victim of Hit & Run Cyclist

My name is Charles Spargur.

I am an associate at MKE1 one of Amazon's Fulfillment Centers.  Due to poor vision I commute to work 10 miles each way on a recumbent trike.

Last week on my way home from work I was the victim of a hit & run accident.  My bike was  badly damaged, as was I.

I am setting up this Campaign to make it easier for all my friends and co-workers who have expressed interest in helping me recover from my accident to help me. (I am humbled by the response and interest that everyone has shown)

Any funds given would be used to cover expenses related to the accident, to replace my ride, and to help cover any lost wages during my recovery.

To replace my bike entirely will take about 3200 to cover the frame, motor battery, lights, etc.

Lost wages will likely be  another 3000 give or take for missing 4 - 6 weeks of work due to recovery.

Finally I will need to replace my winter outerwear (coat and pants) as the paramedics were understandably not very kind to them.
