Charlene Conquering Cervical Cancer

Charlene Ashley Taylor spent her time helping people in our community as a Certified Nurse Assistant for over a decade.  Experiencing some severe symptoms, 36 year old Charlene went to see her doctor and received some unfortunate news. This young woman was recently diagnosed this June 2019 with stage 4 cancer of the Uterus. Specialists found a 3 inch mass on her cervix accompanied by tumours. Due to the size, stage, and rapid growth of the cancer, doctors want her seen in Iowa City with specialists. She is on radiation and chemo at the same time.  Charlene is now unable to continue her job helping others. She is unable to work due to her pain, vomiting, muscle weakness, and frequent medical visits/ treatments locally in the Quad Cities and Iowa City. 

We, her family, are asking the community to help pay it forward. Can you assist us with costs for her primary needs, such as gas to go to her doctor visits, medical bills that medicaid will not cover, prescriptions, cost of treatments for the next 5 weeks of chemo and radiation, and cost of living bills; since, she is unable to work and care for her well being.
