HINGE Inaugural Charity Event-5K
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Veterans Association of North County (Vanc), and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.
At HINGE, a core philosophy is giving back and we’ve chosen to support Walk for the Fallen for our inaugural charitable event.
I'm joining a team of 10 women to run a 5K on November 6th to fundraise and support these wonderful organizations supporting our veterans.
Veterans Association of North County (Vanc): Mission VANC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which serves as a one-stop resource center for all active-duty military, Veterans, and their families. We centralize services from diverse agencies to assist with benefits, transition, jobs, education, health, and wellness. Vision We seek to honor and support those who have served our country, bridging the past, present, and future. VANC is a vibrant gathering place in North San Diego County, where all Veterans, active-duty military, and their loved ones can reach out for help and community. VANC engages and informs local Veterans organizations, service providers, and individuals, helping them work together. VANC seeks to be a model for other organizations that serve the military community.
Walk for the Fallen aims to honor American veterans while raising awareness about the struggles they often face after serving, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and suicide.
These walks strive to celebrate the collective service of our military men and women-and create a sense of community support around them.
By partnering with other veteran-focused nonprofits and companies, we are working to connect more veterans with the help they need and deserve. American Legion Posts around the nation will serve as the essential bridge between veterans and resources from the United States Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).
We recognize that the path after military service can be difficult, but we want our veterans to know they need not walk it alone.
Funds raised will support veterans with the goal of reducing PTSD and veteran suicide. VANC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created by Veterans for Veterans. For over 17 years VANC actively supports service personnel and their families to help them navigate life during and after service.
VANC is committed to supporting Walk for the Fallen and its efforts to improve the lives of veterans.
