Help former Ferris Lacrosse Player finish college
With tremendous determination and hard work, a former player at the Ferris School is completing his last two semesters a the University of Delaware! Through constant threats of housing and food insecurity, he has found success in the classroom, earning a 4.0 last semester. He has worked tirelessly for years to put himself in this position. Currently, he is working but struggling financially to secure housing during his senior year. Student housing is so expensive in Newark. We have secured the cheapest apartment available. Our hope with this fundraiser is to pay his security deposit and as much of the cost of housing his last two semesters so he can focus on his course work and applying to law school. He is totally on his own financially. I am impressed with his resilience, frugality and ability to advocate for himself. Any amount you are willing to donate to support him will allow him to keep his housing for his last two semesters at UD, support costs for books and other college costs, and ensure he can finish at Udel in the fall without any issues. He is a young man that deserves extra support at this time, and I can assure you your money will go to a great cause! (The money will be managed by Lee Powers The President of the Delaware Chapter of US Lacrosse). Please share this post and help us support this young man! His plan after graduation is law school. No kid should be homeless or hungry. We can't help everyone but we can help this child succeed.
