Community Table Fundraiser (Band of Brothers)
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit The COMMUNITY TABLE INC (The Community Table). Your donation will help make an impact!
The Community Table's mission is to provide nutritious meals, in a welcoming environment, to our neighbors in need. It is our vision that no one in Jackson County, NC goes to bed hungry.
The Band of Brothers Lead 150 Class is coordinating this project. The Band of Brothers have been working closely with The Community Table for over 10 years. Pre-Covid, members of the class staffed the dinner shift each Friday. Some responsibilities included: waiting tables, bussing tables, plating the food, serving drinks, washing dishes, operating the food pantry, and cleaning and closing the place at the end of their shift. Unfortunately, the pandemic has made it impossible for the class to continue working at the Community Table in person. Since we cannot attend in person, we have decided to raise money for them! Each student has been challenged to raise (at least) $25 each. All proceeds will go directly to the Community Table.
If you would like to contribute you can make a general donation (that money will be divided among the students that could not meet their total) or you can make a donation in the name of a specific student.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause. It means so much to me, and to all of us.
