Tanaka Education Fund Inc

Tanaka Education Fund (TEF) is a 501(c)(3) tax- exempt non profit organization whose focus is on improving education outcomes for less privileged children in rural Zimbabwe. TEF pays tuition, provides school supplies, school infrastructure repair, female hygiene products, clean water as a way to keep children is school, reduce child marriages, child labor and school dropouts.

We currently support 51 students, mostly orphans at
Mazvimba Primary School
Shazhaume Primary School
Mukomberanwa Secondary School
and Budirirai High School
All in Mwenezi and  Chirumanzu Districts. Without your donations many of these student would have dropped out of school before 7th Grade.

Normally, our fundraisers are conducted throughout the year and at summer events but in 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic our activities were reduced and cancelled. With the added economic burden brought by COVID-19, we know many students in the schools we support will not be able to return to school in January 2021 without our assistance. We want all our students to return to school and with your help they will. Donations will go towards the needs mentioned above.
