Hi, everyone, my name is Kayla Carnevale. My group members, Kaeaton Gonzales, Jackson Loeb, Jules Maza, Ella Trammell, and my self. We are reaching out to ask for your support for the Society For Animal Rescue And Adoption. This incredible organization operates a true "no-kill" animal sanctuary dedicated to rehabilitating abused or abandoned domestic and factory farm animals on a 120-acre preserve. It currently costs over $2000 dollars a day to feed the animals and operate the facility, and this doesn’t even take into consideration the unexpected emergencies that come along with taking care of animals. While this is a large goal, as a non-profit, being fully funded by donations, every contribution helps us grow closer to this amount, allowing these vulnerable animals to have the care and love they desperately need. Your donations will directly support their vital work in the following ways: feeding and providing medical care to rescued animals, ensuring they lead healthy and happy lives, and maintaining the sanctuary grounds to create a safe and nurturing environment for animals to thrive. We are a group of passionate Texas State students raising money to support a local no-kill nonprofit animal rescue in Seguin, Texas. This amazing organization is dedicated to giving every animal a second chance at life by providing care for abandoned, neglected, and homeless animals until they find their forever homes — no matter how long it takes.

The rescue relies entirely on donations and needs funds for veterinary care, food, shelter improvements, and essential supplies to keep these animals healthy, happy, and safe while they wait for adoption.

Winter will be here soon and the animals at S.A.R.A Sanctuary will need improvements to their shelters to keep out the cold. In addition to that, there is a consistent need for funding to cover costs of food for the dogs, cats, rabbits, alpacas, cows and more.

Life-Saving Surgery for a Severely Injured Dog

You can make a difference by donating to Society For Animal Rescue & Adoption to help pay for a severely injured dog's life-saving jaw surgery.

SARA seeks to rescue and rehabilitate any animal in need regardless of species, special health needs, or temperament. We are committed to our mission of "unconditional life," giving as many animals as possible a chance to be healthy, happy, and free from harm.

And true to our mission, we have taken in Bear (formerly known as Swayze), who suffered terrible trauma to his jaw and mouth. It is speculated that he was struck with a baseball bat or other blunt, heavy object. He was languishing at an animal control facility in Fort Bend County in East Texas with no means to provide the care he needed.

So far, his surgery has cost $7,225.00. He is still in recovery at Blue Pearl Specialty Clinic in San Antonio and will come home to SARA tomorrow. He will need to go back for additional Xrays and checkups to ensure his jaw is healing properly and there is no infection.

All funds raised will help pay for this costly but necessary surgery. Without it, he would have died.

Despite all he's been through, he is still sweet, loving, and trusting.
