Help Lash Continue to Teach Children!

Meet Lash, he is the first boy of his breed born in America, bred to be gentle and family friendly. He needs your help! Lash is a beautiful Gypsy Horse on a special mission to encourage children. His message to all children is “Be A Friend!”. Lash is the inspiration for the educational program “Lash’s Lessons". He helps elementary-aged children learn vital life skills in a fun and engaging way. Kids learn to explore character education lessons such as friendship, kindness, and caring. The program focuses on important socialization skills that helps develop a well-rounded child through engaging stories and hands-on activities. At its heart, 'Lash’s Lessons' is a substance abuse prevention program that equips children with vital skills like safety awareness, conflict resolution, healthy refusal skills, communication, friendship and caring. Once they meet Lash, children remember his messages!

Recently, Lash has experienced some unexpected health challenges requiring emergency veterinarian care resulting in a $1600 expense. He will also need an additional surgery that is estimated to be in the thousands. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on donations to cover the cost of his care, so he can continue his important work.
