The LGMD2L Foundation is fighting for a cure for Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy type 2L, also called R12. LGMD2L is a rare genetic disease that causes muscle weakness, pain, and eventual loss of the ability to walk. There are currently no treatments. We fund critical research that could lead to life-changing treatments for those affected.
