About Indigenous of Russia Foundation

The Indigenous of Russia Foundation was established with a mission to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of Indigenous peoples and ethnic minorities in Russia. The Foundation focuses on decolonial efforts, social justice, and the promotion of self-determination of indigenous peoples, and environmental justice. Our goal is to empower Indigenous peoples and marginalized communities in Russia and exile through education, media, advocacy, and community engagement for Indigenous people from Russia living as immigrants and refugees. The Foundation engages in multiple intersecting areas of media and activism, with a focus on advocacy, education, and community empowerment.
