Helens Healing Animal Rescue and Sanctuary Inc

I am making an urgent plea for donations with this Fundraiser to help Helen's Healing Animal Rescue & Sanctuary in Taylorsville, GA. The Rockin’ Rooster & Happy Hen Thrift Store which provides significant funding to Helen's Healing Animal Rescue sustained serious storm damage during the weekend of March 14th. The inside and outside of this structure was flooded resulting in the loss of donated items for sale which provide revenue for funding the rescue. Cleanup is still in progress and early estimates are close to $4000 which includes hiring hands for cleanup & hauling, rental of humidifiers, fans to dry out the place and repairs to the structure itself, inside and outside, notwithstanding the financial loss of the donated items used to generate the sales income. Add to this, two random women came on the property and stole merchandise from the store along with a store wagon!

Helen Riley is the Founder of this Animal Rescue and a wonderful human being. She works tirelessly to save animals and as if this is not enough of a commitment, she selflessly finds the time to give back to her community. Helen's Healing Animal Rescue is among the primary rescues that saves cats and dogs in Polk and Bartow Counties. Helen serves at Boaz Ministry weekly to help the underprivileged, and stocks the community pantries as well, as source of food. She even provides pet food to families in need so that they can keep their pets and not have to turn them into Animal control. She willingly helps everyone in need whom she encounters.

Let us come together and now help Helen when she needs it! Pease help us meet this goal so that her Rockin' Rooster & Happy Hen House can be restored and available to the public again to sell items in order to generate funding so Helen can continue to save the countless animals in need!

With a larger space, we can provide vital services to our community, including free vaccinations and microchipping, a pet food bank for those in need, and low-cost adoptions that make pet ownership accessible for everyone.

In addition to rescuing animals, we collaborate with local veterinary clinics to ensure each pet receives the medical care they need and host community microchipping events to help lost pets find their way back home. Our educational initiatives promote responsible pet ownership and best practices, helping to create a more informed community.
