Help Support Difference Makers Disaster Team Helene Relief
Difference Makers Disaster Team, Inc. is a local non-profit located in Mount Airy, MD, that has been responding to disasters in our communities for years. My brother in law Adam is a full time firefighter and one of the leaders of this amazing non profit. I cannot make this trip myself, but my contribution this time will be helping to raise funds for this and future trips. We are headed back down to North Carolina to help victims of Hurricane Helene on or around November 10th. We are looking to raise at least $75,000 to be able to better help and support those in need. These funds will be used to purchase the following items to help us meet the need:
1. Additional Pickup Truck
2. Skid Steer
3. Trailer
4. Emergency Radio Equipment
This equipment will be used over and over again to help us serve those in desperate need after disasters strike. Thank you for joining us in the cause to serve with love and compassion.
