In existence since 1984, the Darke County Association of Fire Chiefs became a non-profit 501(c)(3) Public Charity in 2021 for purposes of providing training and education to the county’s fire service.  This includes the operating and maintaining of a county training facility.  The purpose of the Association's CHIEFS' Campaign is to raise funds to build the Darke County Regional Fire Training Facility.
