Why do we need you now? One of the founding organizers, Richard McMullin, passed away several months ago. Richard put an incredible amount of love and energy into the Green Man Festival and we would like to honor him by keeping it alive and make it shine as bright as the light Richard helped to create! We have a funding gap that we need your help filling. Show your support for the festival and Richard’s dream! Your donation makes a difference!
We would love your support to help keep this wonderful community gem continuing for many years to come. All proceeds will go directly to support the major programs of the festival, including funding all of the arts & crafts for the kids' programs, providing great local live music, and providing educational workshops throughout the weekend.
The Greenbelt Green Man Festival started 18 years ago in Greenbelt to commemorate the saving of the Greenbelt Forest Preserve. Our sponsor, CHEARS (Chesapeake Education, Arts and Research Society), continues the great work of educating our children, our future generation, on how to care for the earth and all beings on our planet.
