About Cathedral Hill Montessori School

Our mission is to create a safe, beautiful and independent learning environment for young children, to educate our families and the community about the Montessori philosophy, and to instill a lifelong love of learning, respect and service toward humanity, and an appreciation and care of the environment. • To provide year-round quality Montessori education and childcare to families with children from infancy through kindergarten. • To receive and maintain the highest accreditation from the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) for all three of our classrooms (1 Toddler Community, and 2 Children’s Houses). • To provide all day kindergarten, where upon graduating children have been directly and indirectly prepared for and mastered skills in writing, reading, math and science. • To provide on-going Parent-Infant classes to parents and caregivers • To engage in various fundraising efforts to support our goals in maintaining quality education and care, qualified staff development and establish a scholarship fund for families in need of tuition assistance. • To offer regular Parent Education events, community outreach and open houses. • To offer after-school care and summer Montessori programs for school-aged children. • To provide professional development opportunities for staff to retain and maintain qualified staff.
