We have finished our first quarter with our students learning in the classroom, participating in activities and socializing face to face. Our teachers and staff, our board and our headmaster had a choice to continue to live in fear or take a leap of faith that with the proper protocols, prayer and preparation, we could safely return to school and promote our children's education.
This was no small task on behalf of all involved and my heart overflows with JOY & GRATITUDE at the love shown for our students and the passion demonstrated by our teachers. Our school leaders have been so involved in the task of opening and keeping everyone safe, that no time has been available to put towards raising funds to cover the expense of all that was involved to re-open during a pandemic.
Let's show our school how much we appreciate their efforts, their faith, their time and their talent. I have created a GoFundMe page in hopes of raising $100,000 by Thanksgiving break. If we can do this, our teachers and staff can continue to focus on educating our children and keeping our school population safe. With very little chance that our Spring Gala could occur, this opportunity would provide funds that our school desperately needs.
