Chantal Johnson & Family Fund
While on leave, Jarrett, Chantal and Daisy spent some time traveling. Tragically, while at a friend's house in Oregon, Chantal had a medical emergency while swimming, and nearly drowned. Thanks to quick action by Jarret, and their friend Cooper, Chantal was able to be revived. Unfortunately, she is still unconscious and in the ICU in Oregon. Multiple medical issues have plagued this young family, and we are all praying for Chantal's recovery. Due to brain swelling and other circumstances...it is unknown what condition she will be in... if & when she recovers. Jarrett has served this country, and now it is our turn to serve this family, including little Daisy..who will be 2 this August. Jarrett has simply asked for prayers for his wife to recover, and that Chantal will be able to fulfill her promise to take little Daisy to Disneyland for her birthday. I would like to ask that if you are able to help in any way with some of the expenses this family is incurring, while dealing with this emergency away from home, to please do so. Any little bit helps. Let's show this family how much they are loved. If you are unable to donate, and can say a prayer or two, that is also greatly appreciated.+ Read More
Quite a journey. Prayers are being answered! Chantal is well on her way to recovery. Her breathing tube has been removed and she is in good spirits. Still working hard to get better, so keep praying! God is amazing. What a difference a week of prayers make. <3
Wow! What amazing support and I know a lot of prayers have been said... God must be listening, because Jarrett was blessed with amazing news on Monday. Chantal is completely off all drugs except a little sedation and mild pain killer. She is still being supported by a breathing tube but her doctor is hopeful that it will soon be removed. What a turn- around from last Thursday, when Jarrett received a call from the doctor stating Chantal wasn't going to make it, based on her test results...Jarrett is convinced your prayers have saved Chantal's life. Please keep praying, we are hoping to see good news soon that she will be moved out of the ICU and into recovery.
Chantal is still in ICU. It's going to take a massive amount of time to heal. Her brain keeps swelling due to the chlorine she inhaled..she can only nod her head and move her limbs. She is on respirator with restraints. Still in serious condition.
