Hanukkah Donut Party

In light of recent events, Shir Tikvah has decided to throw a blow out Hannukah party. Hannukah is the celebration of oil that lasted eight days instead of one during another dark and dangerous period in Jewish history.  We can't think of a better way to celebrate than get a mobile donut truck to come to Synagogue and serve up some fresh donuts right out of the fryer.  
Of course, we'll be lighting the menorah.  We'll have singing and games. We'll definitely throw down some tops for our 5th Annual Dreidel Smackdown. We are determined to hold our community close and have a great time while we do it.

We want to invite Pip's Original mobile donut truck to come out and serve their famous donuts. We need about 1200 dollars to cover the donut truck and about another six hundred dollars to cover the boring practicals of throwing a party at Synagogue. If we make over what we need we would like to donate the rest to our Jewish education fund so that we can help our community stay connected to Jewish learning which seems more important than ever.




Now is the time to come together.  Now is the time to stand up for religious freedom. Now is the time to eat donuts!
