Change Your Stars
· Change Your Stars is an established 5013c charity that provides impoverished children with role models, unforgettable experiences, inspiration and a smile to last a lifetime.
· 1 in 4 children live in poverty in Arizona and our goal is to help uplift as many of those children as we can. That’s 421,000 kids living in poverty and while we can only help so many we hope to also inspire others to help and take care of our nation’s children.
What We Do
· Change Your Stars works with multiple charities in the valley that specialize in caring for impoverished youth.
· Change Your Stars has helped feed over 1,000 children
· Change Your Stars has helped provide over 5,000 tickets to live children’s events like Disney On Ice, Marvel Universe Live, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Monster Jam and Supercross
· We work with local professional athletes, musicians and entertainment companies to provide experiences for kids that will last a lifetime.
Raising Money
· Change Your Stars is a recognized 5013c Non-Profit and is raising money for the following;
o Start-up non-Profit Registration, Creation & Legal Needs: $2,500 (Includes EIN, Article of Inc, Compliance advisory, fundraising regisrtation, bylaw compliance etc)
o Technical set-up, Website and donation portals etc: $2,000
o Additional Adminstrative/legal services: $500
o In the event there are extra funds they will go directly into the charity funds to be put towards our goal and directive.
o Donations: We are currently using personal funds and contacts to provide experiences for the kids we are helping. Once setup we will have a place on our page for donations that will be tax-deductible for you.
