In Honor of Chance the Miracle Pug

Hello, everyone. My name is Betty and I have decided to create this campaign for Chance, the Miracle Pug alongside my own pug, Bentley (@thepuglifeofbentley on Instagram). We are writing to you from New York and hope this message reaches you well.
This story began back in summer of 2017 when Izabella St. James, more well-known as The Pug Queen, embarked on a journey to rescue an abused and abandoned pug from Iran. Many of you followed this story of ‘the miracle pug’ who was flown all the way to California and underwent multiple surgeries in hopes to walk again. We have come to love and cherish Chance dearly, the little pug who had the odds stacked against him, yet lived every day with the fighting spirit of a lion. It is with great sadness that Chance passed away on January 10th, 2018.
Through Izabella’s devotion and unyielding passion to provide the best possible life for all her rescue pugs, Chance was able to live his life feeling love and compassion. He had a warm bed and a happy home, a stark contrast after being left on the side of the road, neglected and broken. Regardless of how tiring it was to raise multiple pugs at once, many who have a wide array of needs and disabilities, Izabella never gave up and always made room in her heart for another rescue.
Although our beloved Chance did not have the chance to walk and play with his pug pals in this life, we know that he is happy on the other side of rainbow road.
We are so proud of our Pug Queen for her immense contribution of dedicating her life to rescuing pugs from near and far. It takes more than just patience and grit to be able to do what she does. She puts her heart at risk every single day, not knowing what kind of emergency situation could arise due to the complications and disabilities some of her pugs face.
We want to honor Chance’s life through this campaign so that the funds earned can go to Izabella’s current and future rescues. Every cent raised will go directly to Izabella. She will be able to use the money to pay for medical bills, medicine, toys, food, and everything else needed to ensure comfortable lives for her pugs. Izabella is truly a deserving recipient of our help and we hope you will consider donating even $1 in honor of Chance the Miracle Pug’s loving memory.
