Chad's tool replacement fund

Friends, family, and loved ones.  As some of you may already know, in the early hours of Sunday, August 20th, someone entered the garage of my clients' home.  They managed to steal most of the power tools, accessories, and some of the hand tools that I need each day to do my job.  My initial estimate of the loss was in the range of $2,000-$2,500.  As I track down model numbers and pricing (to be listed on a property loss inventory form, which will be submitted to the 3rd precinct of the MPD) I am realizing that the actual amount is pushing $3,000.  The homeowners' insurance company has denied the claim.  Graciously, they (the clients') have given me a check for $1,000.  On Facebook, many of you have urged me to start a Gofundme page.  So here goes! I am only trying to get close to the amount needed to replace what was taken from me-not a penny more.  Therefore, I have set a goal of $2,000.  Combined with the check from the homeowners', it would get me close.  I understand that I need to bear some of this loss myself.  I have not accounted for sales tax in my calculations.  Or the fees associated with Gofundme.  And some of the accessories taken I have not been able to find in stores or online.  I am at peace with that.  So...if you can find a way to help me replace what was stolen, I am grateful.  If you wish you could, but can't afford it, I am grateful.  My love to all of you.

Chad.
