Chad's India Missions Trip

About a year ago at church, a missionary from India shared about the amazing work God was doing in India and the millions of children and adults who need healthcare, food, and love. My heart was filled with a longing to go to India and help in some way. God prompted me to pray about India and eventually the opportunity presented its self through an organization called Send Hope. Send Hope provides for the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of more than 755 children—many of them severely impacted by HIV/AIDS. There are now 20 Homes of Hope with Children Education Centers designed to help break the cycle of illiteracy. They also assist thousands of other impoverished kids. Send Hope also believes in equipping Indian pastors with the tools they need to plant churches and teach the Bible in a way that makes sense to those around them. As a result, a generation of boys and girls have been nurtured, nourished and educated. Many of the children have grown up to be missionaries, planting churches in India's most remote regions. Others serve in orphanages and medical centers.
My dad and I are joining a small team for this trip. We will visit some of the Homes of Hope, help with activities and games, and spend time with the children. One of my responsibilities will be to creatively document the trip by taking photos and video of all that God is doing in India to share with and challenge people back home.
Your gift towards this missions trip will cover the cost of the loooong international flights, travel documents and visa fees, travel and lodging in India, and some photography equipment.
Thank you for partnering with me to impact the lives of children in India, and for investing in my future, before I finish high school and head off to college. My prayer is that I will be open to what God wants to show me, and that I will, in some small way, bring hope to the people I meet.
