Chad Carroll's Stairway to Heaven built by Friends

It is with a broken heart and immense sadness to share that our friend, Chad Carroll, LHS '81, has left our world.  Those of us that knew him were lucky to have his big embrace, his dimpled smile, his quick wit and warm laughter enhance our lives.  He was everything you could want in a true friend.  Supportive, loyal, loving.  He had struggled with a painful, debilitating bone degenerative disease for the past few years which left him wheelchair bound and in chronic pain, yet his smile never wavered and his hope for a life-saving surgery was as real as that smile on his face.  Today, he quietly took a nap at home, and without a word he left us.   
This GoFundMe is to ask for your help with his burial and funeral expenses.  Chad's medical expenses left him with nothing.  His loving partner William, his sister Tammy and brother Brett are doing all they can to cover the costs, but it is too much for them to bear on their own.
If you can find a few dollars to help him reach  his final resting place, you will have done a beautiful mitzvah for a dear friend, and for the loved ones he has left behind.  Please be generous, as he was always.
