Chad Bauer Medical Relief Campaign

Donation protected
On Wednesday, November 21st Chad had just come home from work and began not feeling well. He briefly lost consciousness but did come to on his own. His 18 year old son Gavin came home shortly after that and found him in a very poor condition. Stephanie was working but spoke with him on the phone and urged them to go to the local ER to make sure he was ok. They were planning to host relatives for Thanksgiving the next day. Once at the ER Chad proceeded to get increasingly ill. They did a CT scan and found he had hemorrhaging in his brain.  He was then airlifted to St Mary's Hospital  in Rochester. Once at St. Mary's they determined he had a large brain aneurysm and subarachnoid hemmorrhage. The following day (Thanksgiving), Chad had a surgical procedure called endovascular coiling that is done to stop bleeding and stabilize the aneurysm. This was successful!

In the days that followed, Chad had many CT scans, ultrasounds of the brain/vessels as well as spinal taps to relieve pressure in the head and spinal cord.
He is expected to recover fully from this (thankfully). For now, Chad is still in the hospital. He will not be able to drive or return to work for some time.

The medical bills are going to be large, they do have insurance but there will be unforeseen out of pocket expenses once all is said and done. The family is strong and prideful, but we know they will need help. If you would like to donate to Chad's medical fund I would be ever so grateful!

Stephanie and I work at Southwest Airlines together and they have 2 teenagers that attend high school in the Kenyon/Wanamingo area. They are very active in their community and loved by many! We just want to help them however we can. By God's good grace Chad is still here with them and we don't want them to be further burdened by any financial distress. Thank you for your support and love ❤️
