We need your help!

Hello family & friends! As many of you know, my husband Soumana has spent countless hours over the past 4 years creating a NGO, DIMA, in his homeland of Niger. Niger is ranked number 6 on the poorest country in the world list. Soumana's passion is to help the children of Niger learn how to help themselves. He, along with many dedicated volunteers, is providing them with basic education and advanced training in trades that will enable them to provide for themselves and their families. The services he is providing to these children will also preserve the art of Niger, as many of the Master Artisans are well beyond the age of retirement! While many folks came forward and offered their support and services to the foundation, they are now in danger of losing their school. Everything Soumana has dreamt of accomplishing will not come to fruition, and the children will lose out on an opportunity of a lifetime. The opportunity to become literate, self-supporting citizens! If we are able to reach our goal, the cost of leasing the school would be covered for the length of the program, which is 3 years. Any donation will bring us one step closer to saving the school for Soumana's 48 students and will be greatly appreciated! Jessica Saley
