When veterans come back, they need assistance. While some veterans may come back physically damaged, not all wounds are visible. Many veterans that come back have trouble reintegrating back to society, and they need mentors who can help them find employability, support, and a group of people who can help them network.
Enactus Regina is the Regina chapter of the international organization, Enactus. At Enactus Regina, students create and implement community projects and business ventures in communities around the globe. We are committed to doing our part in creating a positive impact in our world.
In an attempt of doing so, Enactus Regina is hosting Prince's Operations Entrepreneur (POE) boot camp this year. The goal of this seven-day boot camp is to help transition the members of the Canadian Armed Forces develop their business concepts and ideas into a concrete business plan, and begin their new careers as entrepreneurs. The required knowledge, skills, resources and mentoring on business and entrepreneurship is provided to the veterans.
When you make this donation, not only do you help veterans but you also give a chance to students of the University Of Regina also help develop their leadership skills. You are investing and shaping the future of some of the brightest and kindest students.
Your financial help has never been more important- the funds will be used to provide (1)accommodations, (2) food to the veterans, (3) travel fees, and other important work needed to help make this event a success.
You have the power to help these veterans financially, allowing us to educate them so they can have more employability, you are helping them reintegrate them into society. Help support these veterans, by donating so we can help these veterans with wellness, as well as any number of challenging areas of life that they may face after they return home.
If you leave a donation as well as your name, we will have a list of sponsors that will be announced throughout our public and private events, and we will include your name. The boot camp is held during 20th August-26th August.
