Hello! We are the Cevallos family, and we have been working with SCPI since 2007 (scpglobal.org). Through this ministry we have been able to work in different contexts around the world, helping the local church take responsibility for it's geography. We began working in Cuba, from our home in South Carolina. This involved several trips to Cuba per year. In 2013 God opened the door for us to move to Thailand to work from Bangkok, to help reach Asia. Over the last three years, we have been able to see God do some awesome things through our ministry in India, Sri Lanka and most recently, here in Bangkok.
When we moved to Thailand, we sold most of what we had. We felt that God was calling us to do this. Three years later, God has opened another door for us to go back to what we are most passionate about, helping the Latin American church. So, this summer, we will be moving back to the U.S., to focus on building partnerships with ministries throughout Latin America. Our ministry will remain the same, but our target location will be different. This has something that has been our hearts, and on SCP's ministry radar for years.
In June, we will be moving to Nashville, TN where we will be starting this new season of our lives. Throughout this entire process we have trusted God to provide for us, and He has! As we look at the cost of this move back, we recognize that is will require a lot more than our current savings amount. Danielle will be working full-time once we get to Nashville and I will be looking for temporary and part time work to supplement what we need, while we are fundraising and working in this ministry. However, we will still need to rent a new place, purchase cars, and furnish our home. If you would please pray as we sort out all of the details, we would really appreciate all of the prayers we can get. Also, if God puts it on your heart, would you consider supporting us through a one time gift towards our move? This money will specifically be used for any move related purposes. We so appreciate those who have helped sustain us through this ministry and can't wait to see where God leads in this next stage of ministry!
