Le Réseau de Développement Économique et d’Employabilité de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador (RDÉE TNL) a présenté une demande au gouvernement et à Bell Mobilité pour obtenir le service cellulaire à La Grand’Terre et à Trois Cailloux - deux communautés de la péninsule de Port-au-Port actuellement sans service.
Le coût total du projet est de 530 221 $, avec une part de 69,159 $ + TVH à être prise en charge par les communautés. Pour ce faire, un comité de levée de fonds a été mis sur pied et a recueilli 49,701,54 $ à ce jour. Cette campagne GoFundMe vise maintenant à amasser les 30 753 $ à combler afin de mettre ce projet en branle.
L'installation de ce service aura un impact important sur l’accessibilité et la sécurité de ces communautés, et il aidera à attirer de nouveaux résidents ainsi que des développements dans la région.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Francophone Economic Development Network (RDÉE TNL in French) has applied to the government and Bell Mobility to get cellular reception in Mainland and Three Rock Cove - two communities of the Port au Port peninsula currently without any service.
The total cost of the project is $530 221, with $69,159 $ + HST to be covered by the communities. A fundraising committee was thus created and has raised $49,701,54 so far. This GoFundMe campaign now aims to collect the remaining $30 753 needed to get this project on the go.
The installation of this service will greatly impact the accessibility and safety of these communities, will help attract new residents as well as developments in the region.
