Celia Dog Surgery

Donation protected
My sweet pupper Celia dog has bladder stones that need to be removed immediately. On November 24, My mom discovered that Celia was not urinating the entire time I have been out of town. After a trip to the vet and xrays, it was determined that she had three large bladder stones and many much smaller ones. The white dots near her tummy are the stones.

One of the stones discended, blocking her urethra. When they drained her, she had over 200ml in her bladder! While some dogs can live with stones, Celia is at risk to be blocked again. In fact, she was reblocked while at the vet. The doctor recommended surgery first thing Sunday morning and cancelled appointments just to make room for Celia.

As of 10:55am Nov 25, Celia is still at the vet and likely still in surgery. Will give updates as they come through.

We have been estimated that the total cost will be around $1,250. Oof.

Some have asked how they can help. First and foremost, I ask for your prayers and positive thoughts. That will make all the difference.

If you are able, please consider helping with the cost of Celia’s medical bills. Anything you can contribute will be a genuine help.

Celia and her buddy Bernie

Celia (Cecilia Halpert Elizabeth Lemon McMillan) is a rescue terrier from Tallahassee. She became part of my family in May 2014 and made herself at home on every single couch cushion. Celia loves chin scratches, hiding under tables, claiming her own cushy chair, dental bones and walks around the neighborhood. She is one of the most gentle animals I’ve ever met. Everyone who meets her falls in love right away.

Pleaae consider helping out this furry little lady.
