Celebrating Rob Dollar's Life

On October 29th, the world became a little dimmer by the unexpected passing of our dear friend, Rob Dollar. Rob's passion for cycling turned into a tragedy, when a driver, under the influence, hit him and took his life. This Go Fund Me page has been created to help Rob's family pay for funeral expenses and to raise awareness for cyclists' safety.
I have been friends with Rob for 21 years and he's been there at every curve and bump in the road for me, as he has been for so many others.
On the surface, Rob was a fierce athlete with no quit. He was driven and determined. Inside, he was a deep hearted man that truly cared about everyone. What made Rob special is that he was such a good friend to everyone he knew.
Rob had an exuberance for life. He encouraged others always to have passion for what they did, to live life to the fullest, and to be "power," and to never quit.
In one of the last conversations I had with Rob, he mentioned he wanted to raise money to promote awareness for cyclists' safety. Given the overwhelming support we have received, I would like to use all future donations to create The Rob Dollar Cycling Foundation. It was Rob's vision to promote safety awareness and to support cyclists and their families who have been impacted by accident or injury. Please help effectuate Rob's dream by giving a dollar for the creation of The Rob Dollar Cycling Foundation. His father John Dollar and family will be running the organization.
