With great joy, we announce our endeavor to Celebrate Krishna Kaur's 80th birthday.


Her life of service, strength, and grace has inspired so many souls.  Let us join in celebration of this noble spiritual leader!

Krishna Kaur has accomplished many great things in this lifetime so far:

• Member of Khalsa Council
• Lead Teacher with KRI
• Recording artist of sacred chant music
• Minister of Sikh Dharma 
• Founder of IABYT (International Association of Black Yoga Teachers)
• Manager of a group home for developmentally disabled adults 
• Member of Siri Singh Sahib Corporation, which oversees for-profit and nonprofit entities of Sikh Dharma and 3HO Foundation


The Celebrate Krishna Collective is a group of her students, friends, and family from all periods of her life.

As Krishna has requested "no gifts;" instead of personal gifts, we plan to fundraise to support her legacy organization, Y.O.G.A. for Youth. So while the birthday party event is not a formal fundraiser, our gift to Krishna is our efforts to channel great enthusiasm and focus it into honoring this leader in our community in addition to supporting her legacy. Any revenue this celebration may generate will all be gifted to Y.O.G.A. for Youth.
