THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES HAS ISSUED A NATIONAL PUBLIC CRISIS ALERT FOR OPIOID ABUSE ADDICTION

The US is in the midst of an opioid overdose epidemic. If you or someone you know needs help, effective treatment is available and can save lives.  Physical and psychological reliance on opioids, a substance found in certain prescription pain medications and illegal drugs like heroin.

Unintended FATAL INJURIES are always hard to explain.  Americans should not have to alternately justify wanting to become health conscious.  Health conscious communities are essential to continuing human development, societal happiness and fostering positive growth. The nourishing supplements and nutritional products we all consume to ensure our existence should never be compromised by manufacturers or scientists that have harmful or negligent intentions. Nor should doctors, pharmacologists are pharmaceutical industrialists prescribing medications and treatments fail to explain or limit excessive consumption.  Peddlers of pharmaceuticals are just as responsible as peddlers of illicit narcotics. What is even more disheartening is the fact that “innocent curiosity” and “experimental behavior,” is having tragic consequences for our youth. The experiences that are necessary for us to become adults are being stripped away from our lives because of fear. The bitterness of drug addiction affects us all. No one is immune.

Save lives… by pledging to sponsor CELEBRATE VOICES OF RECOVERY with a small contribution. Fundraisers like CELEBRATE VOICES OF RECOVERY, helps survivors of drug addiction, with donations of transportation, time and money. Caring individuals, organizations and companies in our community can consider helping CELEBRATE VOICES OF RECOVERY with donations of transportation, time and funding.  Here is what PACETULSA proposes:

 * PACETULSA would like to raise money for community centers, vans and affordable transportation to treatment facilities.

 * PACETULSA would like to raise money to support a continuing outreach network of ministers, community leaders and family mentors.

* PACETULSA would like to continue a voice-forum environment for listeners and people who want to overcome fear and the feelings of abandonment.

DONATE JUST $1.00 TO CELEBRATE VOICES OF RECOVERY..."It would mean the difference between no financial supports to something concerned with our lost relatives and loved ones going through the most challenging times of their lives."

The systemic problems which occur as a result of opioid abuse and addiction can be mitigated with an intensive outreach campaign that targets affected communities.  Sometimes people are so busy with trying to survive a crisis that answers to problems are not at all obvious.  Just as the driver’s become distracted with connected vehicles, everyday workers and career professionals become tied to easing the stress and pain due to age or psychological anxiety.  No one knew or even thought about being overprescribed pain killers as the now number one cause behind traffic accidents of homicide.

Fatality unintended or not is always hard to explain.  Americans should not have to justify wanting to be healthy or conscious of things that they put into their bodies to cure ailments.  Most of us just assume that the doctors prescribing medications and treatments know what is best for us.  Of course, what is even more disheartening is the fact that curiosity can have tragic consequences for our children.

Gangs, drugs, violence, prostitution, poverty, teen pregnancy, and poor lifestyle choices means that abusers and users hide from their families and friends to keep participating in this counter-culture.

Changing our attitude about “DRUG-LIFE” is the first step in changing your own life. People don't want their children and family members to get caught up in this “DRUG-LIFE” counter-culture.

God willing this opioid abuse disease, killing so Americans, can be minimized by 2020.

PACETULSA is praying for a permanent solution to the opioid crisis.  PACETULSA is praying for a healthy lifestyle for all pedestrians.  PACETULSA is praying for more awareness of every pedestrian.

ALL LOT OF PEOPLE ARE SAYING….”Beyond praying for this terrible drug epidemic it is so hard for me to contribute.  I don’t have a bank account, so I can’t charge the $1.00 to my account.”  PACETULSA has a mailing address: PACETULSA AGS FOUNDATION3701-A SOUTH HARVARD AVENUE TULSA, OK  74135-2280

For JUST .05 cents a day you can be the difference between financial support for our lost relatives and love ones AND providing much-needed transportation to and from facilities that will help change their lives forever!

WHAT ROLE DO I PLAY IN PACETULSA AS A PARTICIPANT?

PACETULSA participants encouraged audiences to take advantage of the “Aware Pedestrian,” movement that is “motivating the dialogue.” Our nation’s psychological, physical and emotional “behavioral needs” our changing.  The current emphasis on tackling our nation’s opioid crisis is just as important as car crashes and homicide.  Our country is being challenged in so many ways.  Anger, confusion, and hopelessness can easily be introduced into our conversations of faith, mercy, and hope.  Recognition of recovery successes with OTHERS, increases awareness and understanding, of mental and substance use disorders and encourages individuals in need of treatment and recovery services to seek help. CELEBRATES VOICES OF RECOVERY encourages individuals living with this disease to recognize the dedicated workers who provide the prevention, treatment, and recovery support services that make life possible.  These volunteers and community leaders only want the most successful results from the opportunities they give thousands of hours to writing and programming and ultimately implementing for victims of OPIOID DRUG ABUSE AND ADDICTION.  These volunteers and advocates are not enemies.

PACETULSA participants establish meaningful relationships with OTHERS revealing similarities and commonality.

PACETULSA participants TALK About THE REAL issues our lives both positively and negatively.

PACETULSA participants grow in an understanding of expecting ideological respect.  Let’s talk a little more about the recovery focus.

According to the Tulsa Equality Indicators, "Measuring change toward Greater Equality in Tulsa," recovery focuses on Urban Communities, Health Care Providers, Members of the Media, and Policymakers; highlighting the various entities that support recovery within our society.

PERSONS WITH MENTAL AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS SHARE A COMMON THEME OF SOCIAL DISPARITY THAT IS RELATED TO ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY.

Economic opportunity is reflective of how disadvantaged groups experience issues like poverty, career choices and workplace advancement.

Economic Hardship

When Tulsans face economic hardship, often their financial stability is negatively impacted.  Intractable, long-standing circumstances make social equity and upward economic mobility difficult to achieve.

Generational Lag

Generational lag can develop and pass along the burden, further entrenching systemic poverty. Progress towards equality stalls when economic opportunity diminishes.

Safety and Violence

Disadvantaged groups often face issues of safety and violence at higher rates than others in the community. Children in Tulsa County experience abuse and neglect at higher rates than the national average.

Racism, Sexism & Wage Disparities

Additionally, there are racial disparities in homicide victimization and large disparities by region of the city in Domestic Violence Intervention Service (DVIS) calls.

PACETULSA advocates agree to Celebrate Voices for Recovery is an investment related to equitable solutions including Health, Homes, Community Centers; Transportation and Narcotic Mitigation effectively exploring how integrated care facilities develop stronger communities.  Outlining a sense of purpose, leadership and mercy which abound in a spirit of benevolence contribute to “effective treatments” that sustain recovery.
