Cedar Ridge Strong

A farmers worst nightmare happened January 31, 2019. 

In what seemed like minutes, the barn was gone. Engulfed in flames. Collapsing in front of eveyone. What was lost in the fire? The beloved animals of the Wolf family. Tractors. Hay.  14 of the 16 cows in the barn perished in the fire along with the barn mascot Mama Kitty. Casey managed to get 2 heifers successfuly freed. This loss is devastating. Actually, devastating doesn’t even begin to describe what happened that day. 

If you are lucky enough to know this family, you know that these animals mean the world to them. How hard they work day in and day out caring for these animals. They live their life out at the farm, have acres and acres of pasture to call home. Spoiled is also an understatement of how these girls are treated. All come with names and personalities to match. The Wolf family has called this farm Home for over the past 16 years and to see the main building on this farm gone is truly heartbreaking. 

The money donated will go directly to the animals who survived and their needs including hay, grain, milk replacer, shavings and much more. It’s with hope that this money that caring people like YOU donate, will help rebuild this iconic barn that so many of us like myself grew up in. 

Eveything donated is appreciated more more than you will ever know.
