Charlie's Angels

Chuck Roberts is the newly elected Consumer Member of the AOTA Representative Assembly (RA). He will  contribute consumer views and public perspective on issues related to occupational therapy professional standards and policies as established by the Assembly. Chuck will serve on tasks groups, participate in meetings, and is a voting member of the RA. 

As a representative, Chuck will need to attend the AOTA Centennial Celebration in Phildapelphia in Spring 2017. It is important that Chuck attends this event so that he can be the voice of the population that OTs serve. His perspective on OT issues is invaluable because he has personal experience as an individual living with Cerebral Palsy. As OTs, we need to make sure that he can represent our clients' voice at the AOTA RA meeting at the conference. 

Chuck is serving as a representative as an unpaid volunteer. He has a long history of community involvement and sacrifices much of his own time to serve others. In order to attend this conference, he will not only have to pay for his own travel expenses, but will also need the support of an assistant. This assistant will travel with him and attend the conference events. 

Your donations will go directly to Chuck to help cover the rest of the cost of attending and make it possible for him to attend with his assistant.
