Unplanned Move

In June I took a job up in the mountains away from the hubbub. It was advertised as a live in caregiver position 2 days a week for room and board.
It was a perfect situation for me and I could have my old dog with me in a safe place where we could live out our years giving back and surrounded by nature.
The woman I was going to take care of was amazing and we hit it off beautifully.
She suffers from MS and is a quadriplegic. I was also told she ran a non profit campground for veterans. Which was right up my ally being a veteran myself.
I was thrilled to even have this opportunity.
I knew caring for her 2 days a week would be ideal and I could get a little cashiering job in town to pay for my few needs.
So I quit my very good paying job, used my nest egg if you will, to get everything I knew I needed to survive for 2 months or so. Paid my phone and insurance bills 4 months ahead, and filled up my car...just to give myself a safety net in case I was unable to get a little part time job right away.
Well, I got here barely had a day to unpack and started training. 4 days later my "trainer" was fired just out of the blue. She worked 4 days a week in exchange for her own Chalet on the property which included 1 paid day of $120.
Needless to say...I had to take over the care for this woman as I couldn't just leave her alone. It was okay too because we really got along and I cared about her.
From June 1st to July 8th I worked 17 hrs caregiving 6 days a week. Obviously I wasn't getting a part time job just yet.
We hired young couple who turned out to not really want to work so 3 wks later they were fired. (Note: these 2 above circumstances the caregivers were given 3 days to move.)
Once again I took over and have worked non stop since then until 3 weeks ago when another person was hired for the Chalet position. She works 3 days a week for free rent. I worked 3 days a week, with the "paid" day of $120.
There is one more position that covered the 7th day of the week. 1 day caregiving and the rest of the week caring for the horse. That is my roommate whom I share a mobile home with. She helped me during all this time and I shared my $120 with her.
So we're exhausted, we got sick and worked through it...had to slack a little for a week while we recuperated.
Red flags all over should've been clues but I'm perpetually positive and I just figured I could make a difference and things would be better soon.
The evening before I was to work my Paid day....We both were let go...no pay, no money, no job and a week to vacate the premises.
Me, an Air Force Veteran...her, a disabled senior citizen out on the streets.
My car insurance expired a month ago, and I had $3.20 left from my $60 pay from the week prior. My gas tank is empty and I can't even get to town (7 miles down the mountain) to get boxes.
Anyone who knows me knows that I hate to ask for anything. But I am in a position now that I have to ask!
I have been blessed by a stranger who has offered me housing, but I have nothing and can't even get there.
Anything will help as I'm out of food, dog food, gas, and no insurance.
I have until midnight of the 8th of October to be out of here and just don't know what to do.
