Eliana's Fund

Eliana Mae Perez was born on Friday, 9/18 at 6:38 pm..  Due to last-minute complications, she was born in respiratory distress and non -responsive . She endured two ambulance transfers and is in Clearlake Regional NICU  on a cooling blanket to slow metabolism and further prevent brain damage.  She is a beautiful, sweet, and otherwise healthy little lady with a ton of love surrounding her.  She was born full term on her due date at 7 lbs 9 0z and 20 inches so has power to fight.  To date, she has been non- responsive, eyes arent dilating, and no gag reflex.  However, she is off the ventilator and making small baby steps of improvement.  Her home is approximately one hundred miles away from the hospital. The bills, including lodging and food costs for her parents are already piling up and her dad's job doesn't provide sick leave or vacation time.  They have insurance but do not qualify for medicaid and could use some financial help.  If you feel led, please contribute something to help defray these costs, but most of all we ask for your prayers! Improvement is coming, but in very small doses, and Eliana and her parents are looking at a fairly lengthy hospital stay before she gets to come home.  Anything will help.  Thank you and God bless you and your family.
