Cavlandic Trail Fundraiser
The highly trafficked 6.5 mile paved trail that runs between the City of Cavalier and Icelandic State Park/Cavalier Country Club is in significant need of repair. In response - Pembina County, Icelandic State Park, and the City of Cavalier, along with other economic and community groups, are joining together to meet this need.
There are 2 significant grants available through the State of North Dakota that will help us accomplish this goal.
The grants both provide an 80/20 match with a maximum grant of $200,000 each.
The Cavlandic Trail Association was recently awarded funding for BOTH grants, totaling $400,000!
We now need to raise funds for:
- grant matches $80,000
- ongoing maintenance $10,000
- engineering costs $35,000 - $50,000
With your help, we can help repair this extremely valuable community and regional asset!
