Catrienna's College Fund

My dream for the past 8 years has been to return to college and finish my education. Not only to better myself, but to also improve my children’s future. There has always been something going on that has prevented me from doing so and it's due time to change that.

I finally applied to college June 2018 for the Fall 2018 semester and got accepted to all 5 programs that I applied to. I accepted the offer from my top choice on June 18th to attend Mohawk College online in their Library and Information Technician program.

My plan was to apply to OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) and use that as my main source of income for the school year. When I went to apply I was met with a message stating I was ineligible due to being in Stage 2 of their Repayment Assistance program(for my previous loan). I was never aware there were stages to repayment assistance and that it would impact me from receiving another loan.

The only way I can become eligible for OSAP again is by paying off my remaining balance. Please help me attain my dream of going back to school to better mine and my children’s future. I would be forever grateful.
