My name is Catherine.

I am 24 years old.

I have recently been diagnosed with Stage 3B Cancer. It has already spread to other organs in my body before I made it for the second opinion.

It is invasive and attacking me as I am writing this. I am recovering from surgery where I had to have a partial hysterectomy, ovary removal and an mip procedure on my colon where it had spread.

I am 24 years old.

I am just finishing college. I am just starting to plan what life is going to mean for me.

I was not prepared for this. I have minimal insurance coverage. If I miss a paycheck I miss paying for my rent.

As a matter of fact this happened so fast that I have been out of work for two weeks thus far - what this means is my rent is due on September 1st. I do not have it.

Now instead of preparing to finish college and get ready for my career, instead of hanging out with my friends at summer festivals, instead of ... well I cannot think about all of the other things ... what I need to think about is preparing to KICK CANCER'S ASS. 

I need help. I simply cannot afford to have cancer.

I'm 24 years old. I want to be 25 years old.

Please help.

PS - It took everything in me to write this. To be honest I am not writing it - my previous boss Chef Nicole is writing it with me. Because I do not know how to ask for help, but as I said I simply cannot afford to have cancer so I do not know what else to do and she doesn't take no for an answer.
