With your help we want to support Salma, as well as the female refugees she employs to grow her family-run Business "Jasmin Catering" in Berlin. In order for Salma, her son and daughter to be able to continue preparing delicious meals as well as employ illiterate middle-aged Syrian women , they desperately need funds to rent a production kitchen.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Salma studied economics in Syria and started a catering service in Damascus. Not only did she offer free food and catering to impoverished communities, the profits she made were donated to the sick and poor.

After fleeing Syria due to conflict and political instability, Salma and her family have pledged to carry on with their mission of helping others by employing middle-aged illiterate Syrian women. Female empowerment is one of the core goals of Jasmin Catering.

This is why we need your support! Grass-root support for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants is essential to help them start new, sustainable livelihoods in their communities. Furthermore, this enables us to counter growing hostile and xenophobic developments in Europe and the US.

We also encourage any food businesses to support this cause.
