Helping Operation Cat-a-Van!

Who am I?

I was raised by cats. Okay okay, I know that sounds ridiculous, and I'm mostly kidding, but I did grow up with three cats and they taught me everything I know about compassion, unconditional love, and friendship.


This is me at age 5, with my first cat, Annie.

Why create a campaign?

There's a reason I foster kittens, fundraise for cat rescues, and volunteer so much of my time towards helping homeless cats.  They need our help.

Heartbreaking fact: Many animal shelters, adoption centers and Humane Societies across the nation have such a shortage of adoptable cats that they actually have to import them from other towns and cities.

Hard to believe, right? Particularly for those of us who live in big cities where there is a huge surplus of cats desperately in need of a forever home.

What FixNation does

There is a Los Angeles nonprofit that wants to be part of the solution – and you can help!

FixNation offers a free spay/neuter clinic for homeless cats and recently launched a new initiative, pulling healthy cats from overcrowded L.A. shelters each month and transporting them to an out-of-state nonprofit that needs adoptable kitties.

To keep this life-saving project going, FixNation needs a reliable and specially equipped van to whisk the cats to their new location. I want to help them get that van!


Okay, it won't look exactly like this van, but really close. :)

How the money will be used

You can help save the lives of thousands of adoptable cats with a donation to FixNation's Cat-a-Van fund. Every dollar gets them closer to their goal  – purchasing a transport van so that homeless cats can make their way to loving homes.

Without this service, 65,000 cats will be killed in the shelters of Los Angeles alone.
