Casey's Cause

Casey's Cause is in memory of Casey Schwartzmier, a young, beautiful girl who sadly lost her battle with addiction. Although, I did not know Casey personally, I have seen nothing but love and kind thoughts from all of the people Casey has touched in her 20 years on this earth. I know of Casey through her mother whom I have worked with for a few years. From what her mother has spoke about her, she was a caring and strong girl. The family has made the decison to donate Casey's organs to other people in need. She will  get to live on through others. Michelle told me that Casey would have wanted to help others. All money raised will go to the Schwartzmier family; her parents, Michelle and Rich, and her brother, Eric. The money will be used for medical, funeral, and other expenses the family should need to take care of. In addition, they may decide to donate some of the money to addiction recovery and education to help others dealing with this horrible illness. Addiction effects not only the person, but the family and loved ones of the person. It takes help to get through it. If you or someone you know is battling addiction do not hesitate to find help. It is hard to battle alone. Please feel free to donate any amount, as anything is generous. Also, feel free to share memories of Casey and thoughts for the family.
