QUIÉNES SOMOS

Somos una organización de derechos humanos que busca sensibilizar en derechos humanos priorizando la utilización de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TICs).  Queremos sacar del ámbito técnico-académico todo el discurso y la información sobre derechos humanos; que hablar en lógica de derechos humanos no sea algo reservado a la élite especializada, sino que gente de a pie maneje esa herramienta, que se apropie de ella y la use para aportar en la construcción de sociedades que garanticen condiciones de vida digna para todes. La lucha por los derechos no se acaba con la aprobación de una ley que diga que yo tengo derecho. Después de eso sigue un camino de lucha y reivindicaciones que encabezan las personas. Queremos que la gente sepa cómo puede organizarse para reclamar la garantía y satisfacción de sus derechos. Eso que está bastante desarrollado en la esfera especializada, lo queremos contar para que llegue a la mayor cantidad de personas. 

NUESTRA HISTORIA

Hace poco más de un año comenzamos a soñar este proyecto. Elba en Madrid, Maru en Caracas, Vic en Berlín y luego se sumaron Maureen y Sylvia. Fuimos poco a poco juntando piezas: discutiendo enfoques, compartiendo visiones, descubriendo saberes, diseñando una propuesta.  Un grupo de gente maravillosa en diversas partes del mundo nos ha acompañado, aportando su trabajo, su conocimiento, sus recursos, su tiempo, su confianza; Entre todes hemos sentado las bases de este proyecto que hoy queremos compartir y que ya quiere salir a la luz. Hay, además, otro equipo preparado para incorporarse cuando estemos listes para arrancar. Y ¡Claro! Nos encantaría que tú también seas parte de este proyecto.

Hace un año nos constituimos en una asociación sin fines de lucro, autónoma y de ámbito global, con sede social en España y un equipo de diversas nacionalidades diseminado entre Europa y América Latina, que tiene como filosofía de acción la difusión y sensibilización en derechos humanos con perspectiva crítica e interseccional, transversalizados por las singularidades de género, raza, clase, generacionales, capacidades diversas, etc.  y busca que el binomio Comunicación y Derechos aporte frutos que ayuden a la formación de una ciudadanía activa, que haga valer sus derechos y contribuya al desarrollo pleno de todas las capacidades de la sociedad, garantizando condiciones de vida digna para todes.

LO QUE BUSCAMOS

Queremos ser un albergue para la lucha, la creación, la resistencia y la esperanza frente a la desesperanza de la uniformidad y las desigualdades normalizadas. Queremos ser un altavoz para la gente que está luchando y diciendo; un intercomunicador con el timbre alto al servicio de las reivindicaciones de las personas. Queremos escuchar, preguntar, intercambiar, aportar, pero sobre todo escuchar para decir las distintas realidades, y cocrear nuevas y alternativas formas de convivir en dignidad y alegría. Queremos crear lenguaje, vínculos, compromisos y articulaciones.

Queremos reconocernos en el otro y favorecer la normalización del otro, recibir la otredad como un bien. La diferencia como tesoro.

Hemos trabajado con compromiso con los derechos humanos, amor por CasaTres e ilusión por el trabajo. Hemos avanzado mucho pero nos encontramos con la dificultad de acceder a los recursos (la mayoría de las agencias de financiamiento exigen acreditar al menos dos años de gestión administrativa que nosotras no tenemos). Así que hemos decidido lanzar esta campaña de crowdfunding para cubrir parte de los costos de nuestro primer proyecto: LA IGUALDAD DE GÉNERO MÁS ALLÁ DE LA PERSPECTIVA BINARIA HOMBRE - MUJER, EN JÓVENES ENTRE 15 Y 25 AÑOS EN ESPAÑA, AMÉRICA LATINA Y EL CARIBE.

PARA QUÉ UTILIZAREMOS EL DINERO DE ESTA RECAUDACIÓN

Proyectamos una campaña de sensibilización, a través de redes sociales, enfocada hacia los jóvenes de América Latina y el Caribe,  de diversa procedencia y condición, a partir del trabajo de campo que realizamos con contrapartes locales en 10 ciudades (en Venezuela, Chile, Colombia, República Dominicana, Brasil, España, Alemania y USA) para despertar en ellos interés por la problemática de la discriminación de género que experimentan en su cotidianidad, que comiencen a entender los mecanismos que la producen y la mantienen, y consideren introducir cambios para si mismes y en su entorno, a favor del respeto a la diversidad y la diferencia.

El dinero que recaudemos en esta campaña lo destinaremos a cubrir los costos de la investigación teórica; el costo de los talleres y los grupos focales en las distintas ciudades; la realización del registro audiovisual de cada una de las actividades; la sistematización de toda la información recabada; la elaboración de un documento de análisis y síntesis de los resultados que complementará la investigación teórica; el diseño de una campaña de sensibilización para redes sociales.  

Somos unas convencidas de la magia de la construcción colectiva, de la importancia de reconocernos y apoyarnos unes a otres como seres interdependientes y de lo bonito de la "juntera", como dice Vic.

ABOUT US

We are a human rights organization that seeks to raise awareness of human rights by prioritizing the use of Information and Communication Technologies. We want to take all discourse and information about human rights out of the technical-academic sphere; to show that speaking in the logic of human rights is not something reserved for the specialized elite, but also that ordinary people handle that tool, that they appropriate it and use it to contribute in the construction of societies that guarantee dignified living conditions for all.

The struggle for rights does not end with the approval of a law that supports it. After that, there is a path of struggle and demands that people lead. We want people to know how they can organize to claim the guarantee and satisfaction of their rights. We want to share that, which is quite developed in the specialized sphere, we want to talk about it so that it reaches the greatest number of people.


OUR STORY

A little over a year ago we started dreaming about this project. Elba in Madrid, Maru in Caracas, Vic in Berlin and then Maureen and Sylvia joined. We went little by little putting pieces together: discussing approaches, sharing visions, discovering knowledge, designing a proposal.

A group of wonderful people in different parts of the world has accompanied us, contributing with their work, their knowledge, their resources, their time, their confidence; Among all we have laid the foundations of this project that we want to share today and that already wants to come to light. There is also another team prepared to join when we are ready to start. And of course! We would love you to be part of this project too.

A year ago we became a non-profit and autonomous association with global scope, its headquarters in Spain and a team of various nationalities spread between Europe and Latin America, whose philosophy of action is the dissemination and awareness of human rights with a critical and intersectional perspective, transversalized by the singularities of gender, race, class, generational, diverse capacities, etc. and that seeks that the binomial Communication and Rights give its fruits to the formation of an active citizenship, to enforce their rights and to contribute to the full development of all the capacities of society, guaranteeing dignified living conditions for all.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We want to be a shelter for struggle, creation, resistance and hope in the face of the despair of uniformity and standardized inequalities. We want to be the a loudspeaker for the people who are fighting and speaking up; an intercom with a high bell at the service of the people's demands. We want to listen, ask, exchange, contribute, but above all to listen so that we can say the different realities, and co-create new and alternative ways of living together in dignity and joy. We want to create language, links, commitments and articulations.

We want to recognize ourselves in the other and favor the normalization of the other, to receive otherness as a good thing. The difference as treasure.

We have worked with commitment to human rights, love for CasaTres and enthusiasm for the work. We have come a long way but we are faced with the difficulty of accessing resources (most of the financing agencies require proof of at least two years of administrative management that we do not have). So we decided to launch this crowdfunding campaign to cover part of the cost of our first project: GENDER EQUALITY BEYOND THE BINARY PERSPECTIVE MEN - WOMEN, IN YOUNG PEOPLE BETWEEN 15 AND 25 YEARS IN SPAIN, LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN.


WHAT WILL WE USE THE MONEY COLLECTED FOR?

We designed an awareness campaign, through social networks, focused on young people in Latin America and the Caribbean, from different backgrounds and conditions, based on the field work we carried out with local counterparts in 10 cities (in Venezuela, Chile, Colombia , Dominican Republic, Brazil, Spain, Germany and USA) to awaken in them interest in the problem of gender discrimination they experience in their daily lives, to begin to understand the mechanisms that produce and maintain it, and to consider introducing changes for and in their environment, in favor of respect for diversity and difference.

The money we raise in this campaign will be used to cover the cost of theoretical research; the cost of workshops and focus groups in the different cities; the realization of the audiovisual record of each one of the activities; the systematization of all the information collected; the elaboration of a document of analysis and synthesis of the results that will complement the theoretical investigation; the design of an awareness campaign for social networks.

We are convinced of the magic of collective construction, of the importance of recognizing and supporting one another as interdependent beings and of the beauty of the "juntera", as Vic says.
