CASA SANA HISTORY

Casa Sana was created to fill a need. We needed an organization to take over after our child sponsorships ended because our kids reached age 16. No organization existed that sponsored adolescents in 2011, so we created our own. This is such a crucial time in a person's life, which is why we're driven to create a solid foundation for our kids so that when times get rough, they won't crumble under the pressure.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

We've created a safe space for our kids to go, The Casa Sana House. Unfortunately, due to recent flooding in the area, our Casa Sana House no longer has a solid foundation. It's literally crumbling under the pressure of the environment. We have since vacated the unsafe structure and need to tear it down  before we can rebuild. We need to show our kids that in times of struggle, we can rely on each other to get through it. That is why we are reaching out to you, we need a safe place for our kids to meet, learn and become the change agents they are destined to be.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE

We currently have 2 Casa Sana Alumni who are making positive contributions to their familes and communities. We have 4 Casa Sana kids who are in College to be an Architect, Journalist, Accountant and Industrial Administration and 2 still in high school. One of our kids contracted Dengue Fever after the flooding, but has made a full recovery and now has her sights on making her dreams of interior design a reality.

Casa Sana ENGAGES under privileged kids, EMPOWERS them through coaching/mentoring, tutoring, counseling, community service, English Classes and Empowerment Curriculum and promotes higher EDUCATION by providing prep school, entrance exam fees and career counseling.

This nonprofit is funded out of pocket by a couple in Vancouver, WA and with the help of generous people like you.

Help us tear this down Brick by Brick.

Funds donated will fulfill the demolition expenses. Our Casa Sana Kids deserve a safe place to meet, learn and celebrate.
