REMEMBERING CARRIE L. WILLIAMS
Carrie L. Williams is a beautiful spirit that gained her heavenly wings after her battle with breast cancer. She was a mother, a sister, a friend and so much more. Carrie L. Williams devoted her life to being a blessing to others through her family, her church and anyone who knew her. She was an avid believer in educating young minds and it is my mission that her death will not be in vain.
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to join me in supporting The Carrie L. Williams Pink Foundation. This foundation awards a $1000 scholarship to aid a minority high school senior who is interested in becoming a business major in college. This scholarship will be presented to one student who has excelled in their high school and community alike. The Carrie L. Williams Pink Scholarship will be awarded in April 2018. We all realize that secondary education can be very costly. With that in mind, we know that we are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. This scholarship will aid in a deserving young person’s preparation to fulfilling his/her dreams. It will also make a difference in the life of a new generation of leaders.
In addition to the scholarship, the Carrie Williams Foundation also gives back to those individuals impacted by breast cancer through our annual spa day event and fall brunch, both free to breast cancer survivors! These examples are just a small portion of the ways that we give back to those impacted by this disease.
To contribute to this worthy cause is simple. Any donation will be accepted and greatly appreciated. However, we are asking to be a sponsor you donate $100.
