The carribbean has been hit by multiple hurricanes in the recent months; Harvey, Irma, Maria and Jose.
The resulting damage is severe and widespread affecting pretty much every island in the region.
As communication systems are damaged or even completely out of service in the affected areas and countries Disaster Tech Lab is now responding right across the carribbean either with our own teams deployed or by supporting other organisations by providing equipment and/or services.
We are providing internet access and phone services in shelters and aid distribution centers, providing much needed satellite phones and handheld radios to emergency response agencies, assisting in the planning and coordination of the overal relief efforts and much more.
Even working with volunteers and our own equipment stocks these deployments still incurr substantial costs and we need your support to enable us to continue our work.
