Lost Car & Music Gear in Flooding

I'm John King and I am a musician in East St Louis, IL. I've made a career playing the electric bass guitar. I have been fortunate to share the stage with artist both local and national during my 20 plus years of making music. I am a freelance musician and member of a couple working bands.
June 29, 2015 around 10:30am I had a pretty significant music set back where I lost my car and all of my music gear to flood waters. Gone... Just that fast. My bass was spared because it wasn't in the car at the time. There was no help or time to retrieve anything from the car. Floating, drifting and sinking I was just able to escape the car through the sunroof. With the exception of a little bruising I had no injuries.
The vehicle is totaled. The auto insurance did nothing to help with the loss of my equipment. Transportation and gear are essentials being a musician.
My goal with your help will be to replace the gear that I lost. Get coverage specifically for that equipment and my bass guitar. Pay for transportation.
