Wishes for Carmen Lopez, Our Mother

As many of you know, our mother Carmen has been battling breast cancer for over 2 years now.
When she was first diagnosed, it hit myself, my brother Danny, and my sister Amanda very hard - but even more so because my father had left the family the year prior. Our mother could no longer work once she became ill, and without the financial support of our father, it seemed that our world began crumbling apart. Sooner than I could even imagine, our family home - where I grew up - was no longer ours. My mom and Amanda were forced to downsize into an apartment, while Danny and I continued to live on our own. Within just a few months our home was gone and our mother was fighting for her life everyday. The love and support from Danny, Amanda and myself continues to be all my mother has to keep her motivated. We give her the strength to appreciate every day she wakes up and keep fighting, but unfortunately the cancer is winning this battle, as she has now been placed on life support.
We aren't sure how much longer she has but the time has come where my siblings and I are starting to prepare and make funeral arrangements for our mother. It's overwhelming enough to think that our mother has only lived 48 short years on this earth and that she won't be able to see Amanda graduate from college, or have a mother-son dance when Danny or I get married. It aches me inside to think about going through most of my adult life without my mom by my side.
Unfortunately in this time of grief, my siblings and I are now burdened to pull together enough funds to give our mother the procession she deserves. Our parents are legally separated and our father is unable to help with the funeral expenses. With Amanda being in college and Danny and I living on our own, we can use as much help as we can get for the funeral costs. We are asking you to give anything you can, whether it's $1 or $20, everything adds up and everything is greatly appreciated. If you can't donate, we'd love your prayers, positive thoughts and kind words. We will share all of your well wishes with our mother.
